More information has poured in about the death of buzzing rapper Lil Peep.

After an autopsy conducted today (November 16), as reported by the Associated Press, the medical examiner’s office in Pima County has revealed the suspected cause of death for Lil Peep, born Gustav Åhris, was a drug overdose. The final toxicology reports will not be available for an additional six or eight weeks.

As reported earlier, the 21-year-old star was found dead on Wednesday night (November 15) right before a scheduled show in Tucson. According to the report, the available evidence at the scene pointed toward a Xanax overdose, which confirms a statement that Åhr revealed on Instagram just hours before his death.
