Meek Mill’s recent sentencing of two to four years for probation violation is not being taken lightly by the 30 year-old street king, his lawyer, his fans, his celebrity friends and now apparently the FBI.

In a story that launched today (Nov. 14) in the New York Post, Page Six reported that the feds are looking into criminal wrongdoing by Judge Genece Brinkley, who has been presiding over Meek’s case and gave the recent sentence that Rick Ross called an “abortion of justice.”

The Page Six article also reported that Meek’s lawyer Joe Tacopina made explosive claims that Brinkley advised the Philly superstar to leave JAY-Z’s Roc Nation powerhouse agency and once again hire Philadelphia entertainment godfather Charlie Mack as his manager. Mack helped guide the career of Meek several years ago and has also overseen the careers of Will Smith and Boyz II Men in the past. Mack currently manages the group Brotherly Love and Empire‘s Bryshere “Yazz The Great” Gray.

Mack denied any friendship with Brinkley to the Post, telling the writer “I’ve spent more time talking to you than I ever talked to the Judge. There is no conspiracy. [Meek Mill] is an old friend of 30 plus years.”

Monday (Nov. 13) in Philadelphia, Mack was amongst the throngs of supporters including Ross, Freeway, Julius “Dr. J” Erving, PnB Rock, members of the Philadelphia Eagles and Macklemore.

“It’s overwhelming,” Mack said to REVOLT TV. He was surrounded by several members Meek’s family, including his uncle, legendary City of Brotherly Love DJ, Grandmaster Nell. “It’s a unified peaceful rally. Peaceful rally. People of color are here in a peaceful way for everybody. Not just for Meek. Meek happens to be the person that brought us together. But this is for everybody.”

Mack sounded far from a man who was in cahoots with Judge Brinkley. In fact, he denounced the magistrate.

“First off, we want recuse her,” Mack said, of what one of his hopes the rally and a “Free Meek” petition that launched recently on social media would accomplish. “We want her to recuse herself from the trial, from the case and get Meek back in the court and have another judge look at his case. Again, it’s not a just sentence. He had dirty urine and he didn’t call into his P.O. That’s not justice. That’s absolute injustice. That’s modern day slavery. It’s obvious. The people are speaking. This is somebody the community cares about.”

Meek’s Uncle Nell agreed with Mack.

“He’s not what Brinkley portrays him to be, she is wrong,” Nell argued. “100 percent wrong. It’s a lot that he did for the city.”
