After releasing her first single under the moniker LUXTIDES back in August to great success, New Jersey-based singer-songwriter Danni Bouchard returns with her latest single, “Flickered.”

The singer, who first enjoyed commercial success as part of folk-pop duo Oh Honey, dives into a different headspace for her new solo venture, penning darker, dreamier songs that soundtrack the whimsical sensation of floating on one’s back in the ocean under a full moon.

“To anyone who has ever been lied to, cheated on, or manipulated by the person you loved most: this song is for you,” Bouchard declared, sharing a note with her fans on social media. “Know your worth and don’t ever settle for love that makes you feel small.”

Additionally, as Bouchard points out, one perk of being an independent artist is that it allows the freedom to plan her release schedule around the phases of the moon, dropping off her latest track during the Last Quarter phase on Friday (Nov. 10). After all, it’s all about the details.
