Rumors have been circulating that Eminem would be releasing a new album this month, and he has just revealed another clue about what that next release would be.
On Wednesday (Nov. 8), Eminem continued his “Revival” campaign with a photo of a prescription slip that reads: “‘Walk On Water’ – Take as needed.”
It appears that “Walk On Water” is either the name of the album itself, the first single, or possibly of a tagline of the album. The album has previously been assumed to be titled Revival, to coincide with the ads and website that surfaced in recent weeks. The “Revival” logo features Eminem’s signature backwards “E,” and the campaign uses prescription drugs, which have had a prominent role in Eminem’s music and personal life.
The album is rumored to be dropping in November, so stay tuned to see if these guesses are correct.
Wednesday, Nov. 8 also marks the 15th anniversary of when the film 8 Mile was released in theaters. Look below to see a firsthand account of an extra in the film about what it was like to witness the moment in Detroit rap history.
