Fans in Chicago were blessed with quite the surprise Saturday night (Nov. 5), with Kid Cudi bringing out none other than Kanye West during his set at the Aragon Ballroom.
Together, the reunited pair performed “Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1,” one of the most praised singles off West’s 2016 album, The Life of Pablo.
Rumor Report | Kanye West and Kid Cudi working on secret project
Around this time last year, West canceled the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour dates following being hospitalized and placed on a psychiatric hold. Two months prior, Kid Cudi called out West on Twitter, resulting in an ugly, public feud between the longtime collaborators.
Naturally, the two emerging on stage together signifies many things for fans to digest, namely that it may mark the beginning of West’s comeback to the spotlight and that their rumored collaborations may be released before year’s end.
Either way, the full circle moment was immensely appreciated both by fans in attendance and those watching from home, with many taking to Twitter and Instagram to capture the performance and share reactions.
Cudi’s currently in the middle of his Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’ tour, with last night’s pitstop in Chicago certainly one of the run’s highlights thus far.
