While T-Pain may have generously freed T-Wayne, his once long-lost joint album with Lil Wayne, earlier this year, it appears he still has some unfinished business to attend to.

Per TMZ, the Auto-Tune trailblazer has filed a suit against Weezy, claiming that he is owed at least $500,000 in unpaid royalties from his work on Tha Carter III.

As reported, T-Pain additionally is asking for his artist, Young Fyre, to be paid for producing “How to Hate” off 2011’s Tha Carter IV.

Tha Carter III has been certified as 3x platinum by the RIAA since being released in 2008, with their collaborative track “Got Money” one of the album’s success stories.

David Banner went through a similar motion last year, earning over $160,000 after Young Money failed to pay royalties for songs “La La” and “Pussy Monster,” which also appear on Tha Carter III.
