Pharrell and N.E.R.D. tease new music

  /  10.31.2017

In just a few days, N.E.R.D. will reunite for their first show in three years at Long Beach, Calif.’s ComplexCon. But fans could actually be getting more than that from the group sooner than later.

Earlier today (October 31), Pharrell took to Twitter to tease a tune-in time to Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio show tomorrow, and host Zane Lowe followed suit–his message coupled with a distorted image.

It’s likely the super-producer will be dropping new music from his N.E.R.D. trio considering the avatars on the band’s Instagram and Twitter accounts have been changed to the phrase “No_One Ever Really Dies,” as has their website been updated with the same slogan.

Furthermore, posters with the motto have begun popping up in neighborhoods, too.

The last time the trio took the stage together was in 2014 at Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw. And at this past weekend’s installment of the same music festival, a reworked version of the promotional image appeared again.

N.E.R.D.’s last studio album, Nothing, came out in 2010.
