Lil B and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie say they squashed beef after Rolling Loud incident
After A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s crew allegedly jumped Lil B, the two have made amends.
Lil B was the biggest news item of the weekend, with the West Coast rapper getting jumped by a crew that ran with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. But the two rappers apparently had a phone conversation to resolve their differences.
On Monday morning (Oct. 23), Lil B and A Boogie tweeted that they hopped on the phone to hash out their issues.
“Had to make some unity moves westcoast and Eastcoast unity,” BasedGod tweeted. “Had a phone call with @ArtistHBTL it’s no problems shouts out to kilo!”
Hours later, A Boogie confirmed the conversation. “Not too many people got it in them to forgive that easy, as I man I gotta respect that,” the Bronx lyricist said.
Over the weekend, Lil B was scheduled to perform at the Rolling Loud Festival in Mountain View, Calif. after A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. But while he waited backstage, alleged members of A Boogie’s crew jumped him – an apparent response to tweets that he had wrote in September that jokingly criticized A Boogie, his song “Drowning,” and the sound of his music.
Lil B spoke to the crowd and to REVOLT TV’s Shaheem Reid, saying that he still had love for A Boogie – and even was open to them doing a song together. Lil B is one of the most beloved figures in hip-hop because of his focus on positivity, and artists like Travis Scott and Schoolboy Q used their time on the Rolling Loud stage to show their support for him.
