Stream: Rob $tone's debut album, 'Don't Wait For It'

  /  10.21.2017

After building anticipation with a selection of loose singles and expanding his audience through his energetic live set the past year and change, San Diego upstart Rob $tone has officially dropped his debut album, Don’t Wait For It.

The new project spans 15 tracks and includes guest appearances from Gucci Mane, Meechy Darko (of the Flatbush Zombies), Malik Burgers and Cash Passion, among others, with production by Zaytoven, ID Labs, Cream Wallo, Money Montage and more.

“Through all of the bulls—t, I’m here,” $tone wrote in an Instagram post celebrating the release. “I got a deal, had a double platinum single, got my last mixtape blocked by the label, got into some stupid ass f—k boy drama, and even got trolled for the past 6 months by a bunch of internet weenies, but I’m still BOOMIN’. This is Rob $tone. Don’t let anyone stop you from getting your s—t done. #DONTWAITFORIT out now.”

From securing a dream-come-true guest feature from Guwop to helping put his often-overlooked hometown on the map to dealing with setbacks caused by a record label, Rob $tone has weathered all types of storms, with his new album full of bars to help inspire and motivate.
