Just as Lebron James officially reunites with Dwyane Wade on hardwood, it’s been announced that King James will also soon team up with his buddy’s wife Gabrielle Union for a project.

James and Union have reportedly signed on as executive producers of White Dave. According to Variety, the upcoming comedy series will focus on “a young African-American teenager who has grown up in an all-white suburb who suddenly moves to an all-black neighborhood when his mom remarries.”

Neither the NBA megastar nor the acclaimed actress are first-time television producers. King James and his entertainment company SpringHill Entertainment have been tied to several productions with major networks like NBC, Starz, and HBO. Union currently executive produces and also stars in BET’s hit series Being Mary Jane. It was recently revealed that the show will come to an end next year.

In other Lebron James news, the future Hall of Famer returned to the hardwood last night (Oct. 17) in the Cleveland Cavaliers’ season opener against the Boston Celtics. During his face-off with former teammate Kyrie Irving, the four-time NBA MVP made sure to deliver a message with his choice of sneakers.
