JAY-Z’s first-ever double album, The Blueprint 2: The Gift & The Curse, turns 15-years old next month, but that hasn’t stopped Beyoncé from celebrating the album’s classic lead single.
Before there was a “Crazy In Love,” we had “03 Bonnie & Clyde,” the pop world’s first JAY-Z and Beyoncé collaboration. “I can’t believe its been 15years since Bonnie and Clyde,” Bey wrote on Instagram last night (October 10) followed by sharing a series of GIFs from the star-studded music video. The two starred in the Chris Robinson video and portrayed modern-day versions of the 1920s bank robbers Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow. It also interpolated elements of the 1993 film “True Romance.” In 2013, the couple revisited the classic on Jay’s Magna Carta… Holy Grail for the semi-sequel “On the Run (Part II).”
