Kodak Black has been indicted on sexual assault charges, according to Florida’s ABC affiliate WPDE.

In August 2016, he was accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl at a Comfort Inn and Suites of Florence County, S.C. in February of that same year. He was later transferred from a Florida jail (where he was previously serving a 120-day sentence on drug charges) to a South Carolina jail; released after posting the $100K bond; and then banned from the state.

Today, he was indicted by a Florence County grand jury on charges of first degree criminal sexual conduct.

If convicted, he faces up to 30 years in prison. No word on when a trial date will be set.

The news comes less than a week after the rapper completed a court-ordered anger-management course.
