Ty Dolla $ign is gearing up to drop his highly anticipated second studio album, Beach House 3, later this month.

To help the wait go by a little quicker, today (Oct. 6) the west coast mainstay releases a new track, “Ex,” with the song doubling as a reunion between him and longtime collaborator YG.

The song, which was produced by Bongo By The Way and samples the classic Bad Boy remix of 112’s “Only You,” has Ty Dolla and YG going back and forth about having commitment issues and dipping into old bad habits.

“I just text my main chick / I told her I ain’t coming home / I just text my main chick / I told her I ain’t coming home tonight,” Ty Dolla sings on the hook.

Beach House 3 is slated to drop on Oct. 27 and will feature collaborations from Lil Wayne, Damian Marley and more. Mark your calendars!
