Less than a week after Migos’ Quavo hopped on Travis Scott’s “Butterfly Effect” for a remix, the original track has gone platinum, according to Variance.
It’s familiar territory for La Flame whose Kendrick Lamar-assisted “Goosebumps” earned the same certification earlier this year. He also had the honor of watching both his albums, Rodeo and Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight go platinum on the same day.
Variance reported:
“While the Recording Industry Association of America has yet to publish its latest certifications, Scott’s label Epic Records confirmed the achievement in an email to Variance, with the accompanying image seen below.”
Scott also appeared on SZA’s “Love Galore” which has additionally sold over a million copies.
