Vic Mensa has delivered a new video for his track, “Rollin’ Like a Stoner,” which appears on his 2017 debut album, The Autobiography.

“‘The ‘Rolling Like A Stoner’ video is about reckless abandon and escapism,” the Chicago emcee explained. “The whole thing was filmed on a stage, as a comment on life as an entertainer. I was watching films like ‘Bye Bye Life’ and ‘Birdman,’ and 1920s westerns.”

The visual, which was directed by Mensa himself, definitely holds a hazy, trippy quality, with the song itself making it an especially fitting soundtrack.

Mensa, who performed last night (Sept. 30) in Brooklyn to help raise money for hurricane relief, is slated to embark on tour with JAY-Z later this month.
