Last month, Solange deleted her Twitter account shortly after posting a final message that attempted to rally support behind Takiyah Thompson, a woman who was arrested that same day in relation to taking down a Confederate monument in Durham, North Carolina.
At the time, Solo wrote: “…before I dip when are we gonna pull up ? & what we got to do to get my new hero Takiyah Thompson free?”
But on Thursday night (September 28), she returned to the social media network to share photos from her Cosmic Journey concert that went down last weekend at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl, and to thank the fellow artists on its line-up: Dev Hynes (artistically known as Blood Orange), Moses Sumney, Kelela, King, and Kelsey Lu.
She wrote: “came back to day thank you to everyone who made Cosmic Journey at Hollywood Bowl SO special….u guys made me fly ❤️ and thank u to my brother #devhynes & my friends @kelelam, @weareKING, @IAmKelseyLu, @MosesSumney for being apart of such a magical night.”
