Officials have confirmed that the man arrested in connection to the shooting of Young Dolph in Hollywood been released without charges.
According to a spokesman for the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office, prosecutors have asked police to further investigate the role of Corey McClendon, 43, in Tuesday’s shooting. The Memphis native, and reported an associate of Yo Gotti, walked out of jail on Thursday (September 28).
McClendon was booked on suspicion of attempted murder following the shooting on Tuesday (September 26).
Meanwhile, Young Dolph, real name Adolph Thornton Jr., is recovering from injuries sustained after the shooting, which is said to be non-life threatening.
Investigators continue to look into the incident.
