The Kardashian-Jenner family has been full of surprises (and pregnancy rumors) as of late, with Kim Kardashian the latest to confirm that the speculation her and Kanye West are expecting a child is true.

For the past several months, the 36-year-old mother of two has been avoiding confirming the rumors that she and West have another child on the way. However, today (Sept. 28), Kim broke her silence, taking to social media to confirm the news.

“What happens every time I say, ‘Guess what?’” Kim asks her sister, Khloé Kardashian, in a clip posted to her Twitter earlier this afternoon.

Khloé plays along, asking, “The person’s pregnant?”

Kim then happily announces, “We’re having a baby!”

The announcement, naturally, also doubles as promotion for the upcoming fourteenth season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which is set to premiere this upcoming Sunday (Oct. 1).

Earlier this year, during an April episode of the famed reality show, Kim first discusses that she had been looking into pursuing surrogacy as an option, after learning that her becoming pregnant would be potentially life-threatening. The reality star and entrepreneur suffered from placenta accreta in her first pregnancy, with doctors explaining that a third pregnancy would be too risky to pursue.

Given the recent reports that Kylie Jenner is pregnant with rapper Travis Scott’s baby, as well as the rumors that Khloé is expecting as well, this upcoming season of the long-running reality show just might be one of the most entertaining yet.
