An arrest has been made in connection with Tuesday afternoon’s shooting in Hollywood involving rapper Young Dolph.
According to the LAPD, one suspect was arrested this morning (September 27) on suspicion of attempted murder in the incident. The man, Corey McClendon, 43, was arrested near the scene. It’s unclear if McClendon, a Memphis native, was the shooter, however he is being held in custody with bail set at $1 million.
Meanwhile, Young Dolph, whose real name is Adolph Thornton Jr., remains hospitalized and is said to be in critical but stable condition. Hours after the shooting, police said he was expected to survive.
