It’s been over a full month since Dave East dropped his highly anticipated debut EP, Paranoia: A True Story, with the project helping the Harlem rapper to expand his ever-growing fanbase and reach new audiences as his fast-rising career continues to unfold.
Today (Sept. 27) the Nas co-signed emcee drops off a new music video from the project, giving the Chris Brown-assisted single “Perfect” the official visual treatment.
The video showcases East fighting off temptation while facing his inner demons and serenading a beautiful woman while blindfolded in an empty room full of broken mirrors. Breezy, on the other hand, shows off his reputed dance moves, with the visual shot in an artistically lit abandoned warehouse space.
Last month, East made an appearance on the Breakfast Club to promote his new EP, with the lively conversation touching on his relationship with Nas, signing with Def Jam, life as a new father and his currently unreleased music with Drake.
Take a look at the freshly released visual for Dave East and Chris Brown’s “Perfect” below.
