Rapsody’s highly-anticipated album Laila’s Wisdom drops tomorrow and on the eve of the project’s release, she’s unleashed her collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, “Power.”

“I want the power to be able to rap ’bout what I rap ’bout,” raps Rap’ on the track, where she references police badges, booties, and her blackness as examples of power. Produced by 9th Wonder, the jazzy tune also features the vocals of Lance Skiiiwalker.

For his verse, K. Dot, who just so happens to be one of his generation’s most profound voices, once again showcases that he’s aware of his own powerful impact. “Let’s talk about 100 thousand kids raving and bouncing / Craving and drowning in words the day I pronounced them,” delivers the DAMN. spitter.

The new release joins records “Pay Up” and the Busta Ryhmes-featured “You Should Know” that have also been previewed prior to the LP’s release.
