Earlier this summer, Kevin Hart found himself at the center of allegations that he had been unfaithful to his pregnant wife, Eniko Parrish-Hart.

While he previously has denied the claims, even writing on Instagram that “at the end of the day, you just gotta laugh at the BS” during the height of the rumors, it appears as though now the comedian is singing a bit of a different tune.

In a new video posted to Instagram Saturday evening (Sept. 16), Hart can be heard addressing the situation, even though he doesn’t call out specifics.

“I’m at a place in my life where I feel like I have a target on my back,” he says. “And because of that, I should make some hard decisions. And recently, I didn’t. You know, I’m not perfect, I’m not going to sit up here and say that I am, or claim to be, in any shape or form.”

Hart then addresses the situation further, calling himself out for his “wrong behavior.”

“I made a bad error in judgment to put myself in an environment where only bad things could happen and they did,” he continues. “In doing that, I know that I’m going to hurt the people closest to me, who I’ve talked to and apologized to. My wife and my kids. It’s a s—ty moment. It’s s—ty moment when you know you’re wrong and there are no excuses for your wrong behavior.”

While concluding the video commentary with the promise he will be working to do better, he also says that he would rather confess up to his wrongdoing than allow someone to benefit financially from the situation at hand. Naturally, fans have been swarming both Hart and Parrish’s Instagram with their own interpretations, reactions and commentary since the comedian made the difficult decision to address the elephant in the room.
