Earlier this year, Nicki Minaj dropped “Swish, Swish,” her collaboration with Katy Perry, with one line, in particular, catching the attention of Cardi B.

Following Cardi sharing her reaction to the song, which made a reference to Cardi’s then-new beau Migos, on Instagram Live, rumors began swirling that the two rappers were about to go head-to-head and spark hip-hop’s latest beef. During a recent conversation on The Breakfast Club, Cardi sets the rumor straight.

Around the 11:20-minute mark, co-host DJ Envy asks if Cardi and Minaj ever spoke about the sub-disses, with the Bronx rapper immediately responding “Yes,” and then looking to change the subject.

After the hosts ask her to clarify, she then explained that she doesn’t have any beef with the Pinkprint rapper.

“We just conversated, man,” she says. “That’s it.”

Later on during the “Bodak Yellow” rapper’s latest sit-down, the conversation once again returns to the rumored beef.

“People don’t understand,” she says, when asked if her lyrics on G-Eazy’s “No Limit” is her lyrical response to Minaj. “I got beef with 10 b—-es still in the hood and I still be in the hood.”

She then confirms up the matter once and for all, stating that she has no problems with Minaj because, “She ain’t ever f—ed my man.”

And there you have it.
