As the summer winds down, Lil Kim and Remy Ma are cooking up heat for the approaching season.
Joining forces for a new collaboration that is being described as both “fire” and “ridiculous,” the Queen Bee and Bronx Bomber shared the news via social media. “The amount of 🔥that was in this room was ridiculous,” wrote Kim. “Somebody call the fire marshals sheesh. We just made history.”
Remy also teased the collaboration and hinted at a possible placement on her anticipated sophomore album, 7 Winters, 6 Summers. Just last month, Fat Joe expressed his sheer excitement for the project, telling DJ Suss One that it’s not only amazing, but could also go “number one in America.” Remy’s new album will be her first solo retail project since 2006’s There’s Something About Remy: Based on a True Story.
Meanwhile, Lil Kim is also prepping a new album. Back in February, Kim kicked off #lilkimseason by announcing plans for a fifth studio album. “I’ll be in my second home LA working on my album,” she wrote on Instagram. “If you see me leave believe it’s about that [money].”
All in all, news of Kim and Remy collaborating couldn’t have arrived at a better time.
