Lil Uzi Vert continues the momentum on the Billboard 200, Logic returns to top 10

Following a chart-topping debut last week, Lil Uzi Vert’s Luv is Rage 2 maintains a strong performance on the Billboard 200 chart, sliding down to No. 2 with 73,000 units sold. The album, which features appearances by Pharrell and The Weeknd, was overshadowed by LCD Soundsystem’s much-talked about project American Dream, which picked up sales of 85,000 units with 81,000 coming from traditional album sales.

Uzi celebrated the success of his debut at the Day N Night fest over the weekend.

Elsewhere on the chart, XXXTentacion’s 17 drops from No. 2 to No. 3 in its second week, as Billboard reports, while Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. continues its dominance within the top 10 with 40,000 copies for the No. 4 slot. Khalid’s American Teen climbs up three spots from last week to round out the top five this week with 33,000 units.

Logic, who highlighted the MTV Video Music Awards last month with a standout performance, returns to the top 10 with his latest album Everybody. The album surges from No. 11 to No. 8 with a 29,000 pick-up. As Billboard points out, this is the album’s first week in the top 10 since it originally debuted back in May.

SZA’s breakthrough album Ctrl and Ed Sheeran’s ÷ rounds out the top 10 with over 26,000 units respectively.
