The Weeknd and Drake’s brotherhood spans nearly a decade, with the pair’s rumored joint album one of the most highly sought after collaborative projects in recent memory.

The duo, who recently addressed the ever-popular question regarding if such a project will ever actually manifest, continue to add to the collective speculation regarding their future creative partnerships this weekend, with the Weeknd debuting his new track on the 6 God’s radio station, OVO Sound Radio.

The Weeknd’s new single is a nod to R. Kelly, with the Canadian crooner reworking the R&B veteran’s 1995 single, “Down Low (Nobody has to Know)”.

The Weeknd is currently embarking on the latest leg of his Star Boy: A Legend of the Fall tour, which will continue through to December. In the meantime, we’re sure fans will keep holding the Toronto heavyweights accountable to make time to get into the studio together like they hinted they might.

Take a listen to the Weeknd’s latest offering below.
