The 2017 Day N Night festival took over Anaheim, California this weekend, with a stacked bill of performers taking to the stage to display their talents and entertain thousands of eager attendees.

With fan favorite acts such as Travis Scott, Chance the Rapper and Kendrick Lamar handling the headlining duties, the festival also provided a necessary and much-appreciated outlet for hip hop’s fast-rising emerging acts, with Rich Chigga particularly experiencing quite the memorable weekend.

Rich Chigga recently turned 18 years old, and to help celebrate the rapper reaching such a memorable milestone, Post Malone surprised him with a gift of epic proportions backstage.

During the festival, Post greets Rich and casually mentions that he has something set up for him, presenting the teenage rapper with his own colorful birthday cake. Following the happy exchange, a choir emerges and begins doing a special rendition of his Rich’s single, “Glo Like Dat.”

Needless to say, Rich had a perfect reaction to the kind gesture, which doubled as celebratory payback for the rapper surprising Post back in May with a live mariachi band rendition of his song “Congratulations.”
