DJ Paul generates a flash of light in response to the recent string of tropical storms.
In light of the recent events in the Gulf Coast, the Three 6 Mafia legend cues up an anthem that transforms pain into quite the chest-pumping anthem. Titled “Drown,” the song serves as a get-back-up anthem in this time of pain. Recorded prior to the tropical storms of Hurricane Harvey and Irma, Paul, in a statement to REVOLT, says the following about the track: “In all professions there is always a bad energy somewhere from haters who try to hold you back from excelling.
“But an entertainer’s issue of being drowned is no where near the tragic problems that Houston, Florida and the Caribbean Islands are going through now. People are actually dying or losing everything they’ve worked their whole lives for.”
Describing the song further, Paul added, “I dedicate this song to everyone who is being held back physically or mentally, and my sincere prayers go up for the people affected by these terrible storms.”
