Since 2015, Wu-Tang Clan’s album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin was only owned by one person: Martin Shkreli, one of the biggest douchebags in the country. But if the former pharmaceutical exec is to be believed, he’s ready to part ways with his $2 million purchase.

On Tuesday, Shkreli put the album up for auction on eBay. In the description, he writes that he “decided to purchase this album as a gift to the Wu-Tang Clan for their tremendous musical output. Instead I received scorn from at least one of their (least-intelligent) members, and the world at large failed to see my purpose of putting a serious value behind music. I will be curious to see if the world values music nearly as much as I have.”

He added that he hopes the sale can get the album to “someone with a bigger heart for music” who will “makes it available for the world to hear.”

At the time of this story, with nine days of bidding left, the bids are up to $100,500 – only a fraction of the $2 million Shkreli paid for the album himself. Half of the proceeds from the sale, Shkreli aid, will go toward Oregon Health and Science University for rare disease drug research.

Shkreli earned notoriety in 2015 for raising the price of an AIDS-related drug from $13.50 per pill to $750, and afterward, for trolling rappers and saying obnoxious things through media outlets. In recent months he was convicted on charges of securities fraud and conspiracy, and is awaiting sentencing.
