Lonzo Ball might just become the latest athlete to find himself on the receiving end of one of Lil B’s infamous curses.

Earlier this week, the Los Angeles Laker found his mentions catching on fire following the debut episode of his new reality show, Ball in the Family, during which he claimed, “nobody listens to Nas no more.” He then followed up the bold statement, adding, “Real hip-hop is Migos and Future.” Naturally, Lil B, like most of the Internet, isn’t letting such a controversial remark go by without warning Ball of the possible consequences.

Taking to Twitter, the California rapper questioned the authenticity of the comments Ball made, asking his followers to confirm the news, all while mistakingly referring to Lonzo as his father, Lavar.

“Did lavar ball really say something about nas that was not of the highest respects concerning hip hop?,” the rapper posted online. “You have been warned #cursed – Lil B.”

Immediately thereafter, fans began digesting the warning message, with many rooting in Lil B’s favor to curse the ball player for the severity of his comments disrespecting Nas.

“Lonzo ball is a few seconds away from being cursed his rookie year on the lakers, nas is hip hop and always relevant, watch ur team – Lil B,” the rapper wrote, clarifying the recipient of the curse. “Didnt the lakers just trade a snitch deanglo Russell? Lakers front office what’s y’all problem? Step ur PGs up. LONZO WATCH UR MOUTH – Lil B.”

Previous recipients of the BasedGod curse include Kevin Durant and James Harden, with Lil B graciously lifting the curse from Harden earlier this year.

Once again, the BasedGod has spoken. Lonzo Ball, you have officially been warned.
