With Labor Day around the corner, Fabolous is ready to heat up the last leg of summer with some new music.

Taking to Instagram last night (August 30), the Brooklyn MC announced a threequel to his Summertime Shootout series. No release date has been set, but the project’s first single, titled “Flipmode,” arrives Friday (September 1).

Featuring Chris Brown and Velous, the record is a remix to the latter’s track of the same name. The song will be Fab’s release for a project since last year’s Summertime Shootout 2.

Fab’s slate of releases is heavy these days. Aside from Summertime Shootout 3, Loso also has Freddy Vs. Jason and sequels to Loso’s Way and The Young OG Project in the stash. Stay tuned for his first taste of SS3 this Friday.
