Just when pop culture fans were starting to think the now eight-year-old beef between Kanye West and Taylor Swift was finally a thing of the past, the pop singer’s latest “diss” track revived it from its death bed.

Not only did Swift’s new single “Look What You Made Me Do” make vague references to Ye, she also decided to release her new album Reputation on the same date of the passing of the “Famous” rapper’s mother, Donda West–a coincidence fans of the rapper are refusing to ignore.

Rumor Report | Taylor Swift takes shots at Kanye West on new single?

While the singer’s camp has since denied any connection between the dates, even issuing a statement declaring there “is no correlation” and citing the Nov. 10 date as simply being favorable among Universal Music Group’s release schedule, Yeezy fans have decided to take action.

As reported, fans of the beloved rapper have launched a new movement, declaring the date #HeyMamaDay after West’s dedicated song to his mother of the same name. On November 10th, fans of West are planning on repeatedly streaming the heartfelt song in hopes to get the track to climb the charts and make a statement, all while paying homage to the life of Dr. West on the 10th anniversary of her passing.

“Basically, we have the idea to repeatedly stream a singular Kanye song on that date,” the post on Reddit organizing the call-to-action reads. “Hopefully getting that song the #1 spot on daily streams over any of Taylor’s songs. We are focusing on a single song as it will be much easier to concentrate our efforts into that, than say a whole album getting to #1.”

West has yet to respond to Swift’s latest track, with the lyrics “I don’t like your little games/Don’t like your tilted stage/The role you made me play the fool” particularly striking a nerve with Yeezy fans.
