JAY-Z shows us where he’s from in a new commercial for his Made in America festival.

According to Budweiser, which posted the video on its Youtube account, “Dream. On.” is the tale of “what happens when you persevere and never let anyone quiet your dreams.” In what feels more like a spoken word piece than a freestyle, the Hall of Famer opens the video with the lyrics, “I’m from where dreaming ain’t allowed. Especially, when you’re dreaming aloud.”

Throughout the minute and a half video, which features clips of what appears to be his childhood apartment, Hova continues the from nothing to something narrative. As images that reference where it all started for the entertainment mogul are showcased, the “So Ambitious” rapper speaks on having “hella hope” and dreaming his way out of apartment 5C in Marcy Projects. “You can turn any situation around,” he raps.

“Dream. On.” follows of series of thought-provoking visuals released by JAY-Z in 2017. Since dropping his 13th solo album 4:44 to critical acclaim back in June, he has kept the album’s momentum going by putting out music videos, as well as introducing his docu-series Footnotes, which can be viewed on REVOLT TV.

Made in America 2017 takes place in Philadelphia on Sept. 2nd and Sept. 3rd. J. Cole, 21 Savage, Migos and Solange, as well as the master of ceremonies himself JAY-Z, are set to perform at this year’s event.
