Less than a week after dropping his multifaceted debut album Luv Is Rage 2, turning heads at the MTV VMAs by delivering an unexpected performance with Ed Sheeran, and nabbing an award for “Song of the Summer,” Lil Uzi Vert is on track to debut at No.1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

According to Billboard, Uzi’s LP is projected to move over 110,000 equivalent album units.

And Billboard isn’t the only one giving nod to the rising rapper.

Nicki Minaj took to Instagram earlier today (August 29) to drop a hint that she’d like to remix (or freestyle over) Luv Is Rage 2 cut, “The Way Life Goes.”

Seemingly topless, she can be seen singing along to the lyrics: “But I like that girl so much, I wish I never met her.”

She captioned the clip, “Ummm Uzi better make this a single, send me the beat, and quit playin.”

If all goes down as predicted on the charts, Uzi would displace rock band Brand New who currently sits at the top with their first album in eight years, Science Fiction. Following behind them are Kodak Black at No.2 with Project Baby Two and Kendrick Lamar at No.3 with DAMN.
