Fans of both SZA and Solange have a new reason to be excited, because the two R&B divas have finally collaborated.

The next video release from SZA’s critically-acclaimed album Ctrl will be “The Weekend.” The video, which has been shot already, was directed by Solange.

In an interview with USA Today, the “Love Galore” singer made the announcement, as well as spoke on her relationship with her fellow songstress. “I love her,” said SZA. “I think the universe is just bringing us closer to each other. That’s my homegirl.”

SZA has been on a roll as of late. Not only is she fresh off of her first VMA nomination and an electrifying Afropunk performance, but she has also witnessed Ctrl receive tons of praise.
