Rumor has it that Justin Timberlake and JAY-Z are among the acts being considered for next year’s Super Bowl performers.

Informed sources tell Hits Daily Double that a bid has been made for Jay and Justin to perform at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on February 4, 2018. If this happens, it would be the first time the “Suit & Tie” duo hit the stage together since their 2013 Legends of the Summer Tour.

Timberlake hasn’t participated in a Super Bowl halftime performance since Janet Jackson’s “wardrobe malfunction” at Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004. And Super Bowl LII would be JAY-Z’s first time hitting the stage.

Neither JT or JAY-Z have confirmed whether this rumor is true but, if so, it would align perfectly with the conclusion of Jay’s ‘4:44’ tour and Timberlake’s forthcoming album, due early 2018.
