Lots of rappers are sneakerheads, so having their own shoes with major companies is often on their bucket lists. But not all deals work out, and in a new interview, Lil Yachty explained why he had to turn down a deal with Reebok.

In the latest installment of Complex’s Sneaker Shopping series, interviewer Joe La Puma asked Yachty if any companies had approached him to design his own shoe. Yachty confirmed that Reebok had approached him to make his own boat shoe – but that the shoe was a little too weird for his tastes.
