UPDATE: Meek Mill has been released from jail without bail. According to NY Daily News, prosecutors hoped for the rapper to have a bail set at $7,500 bail, however Judge Gerianne Abriano declined and instead requested that the rapper complete driver’s school. Mee is due back in court October 11.

Meek Mill will not be charged with felony reckless endangerment charges following an arrest Thursday night (August 17) in New York City.

As reported by TMZ, the rapper’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, revealed that prosecutors will not pursue felony reckless endangerment charges after he was arrested on Thursday (August 17) for riding dirt bikes in New York City on the night of August 16th.

According to the outlet, it appears as though the new charge could be a misdemeanor.
