Earlier this year, frequent collaborators and fellow Chicagoans Chance the Rapper and Jamila Woods took to social media to announce they were in search of a Chicago-based high schooler to help direct the video for their joint track “LSD.”

Upon submitting a treatment, Ashley Huicochea, then a senior at Prosser Career Academy, won the contest and shadowed directors Sam Bailey and Vincent Martell. And now, we finally have the finished product.

In the just-released visual, Woods enjoys both a kiddie pool and ocean with the same whimsy, and a BBQ where Chano plays chef. As he spits his verse, a dancer moves to his words in the middle of a neighborhood road. Locals sit for intimate portrait shots before Woods heads to Chicago staple Harold’s for her final shot. The video reminds all viewers that the “LSD” title doesn’t refer to the drug, but to their city’s Lake Shore Drive.
