David Crane, co-creator of the iconic ’90s sitcom Friends has yet to see JAY-Z’s much-talked about music video for “Moonlight.”

JAY-Z drops “Moonlight” music video

Last week, JAY-Z debuted the cameo-packed visual for his 4:44 album standout, which recreates the classic “The One Where No One’s Ready” episode from the Friends series. Jerrod Carmichael, LaKeith Stanfield, Issa Rae, Tiffany Haddish, Tessa Thompson, and Lil Rel Howery play the famous six pals.

In a brief interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Crane revealed that while he does not have a Tidal subscription, he is aware of the visual and “happy” that the series continues to live on. “I don’t have Tidal,” he revealed. “I’m just happy that the show is still part of the cultural zeitgeist after all these years.”

Alan Yang, co-creator/writer of Master of None, directed “Moonlight,” which has since been made available on YouTube.
