When we caught up with Rae Sremmurd at Coachella earlier this year, they told us that SremmLife 3 would be “loaded with bangers,” that it’d be “some left-field hard shit.” And we now have our first taste of the upcoming project.

The brother duo just released “Perplexing Pegasus,” their first single since their last album. Produced by Mike WiLL Made-It—the man behind their juggernaut smash “Black Beatles,” (which nabbed them their first No. 1 song)—the new offering is slow-moving, driven by an eerie chime, as Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee get their best brag on about cars, jewelry, money, and women:

“Jump in the Pegasus / All kinda reckless the necklace / All kinda reckless I flexed it / Keep the change, yeah you heard me correctly / If she sleek and foreign, call her Lexus / Every week a foreign, I just check her wishlist / Only thing I’m here for is perplexin.’”
