Prior to hitting retailers next Spring, the collection is set to premiere in November at ComplexCon.
The pairing of the clothing company with Swedish roots and 3Stacks began with the artist being tapped for the Nylite50 artist series. Several artists from various areas around the globe were selected by Tretorn to reimagine the Nylite shoe in celebration of 50 years of the classic Tretorn staple.
The Grammy Award-winner, who is also the headlining artist in the Nylite50 series, was called the “embodiment of a true style icon,” by ABG’s – the parent company of Tretorn – EVP of Marketing, Natasha Fishman.
“Tretorn’s Nylites are a true classic that have been a staple in my shoe rotation since I was a kid,” said André 3000. “It’s great to celebrate the brand’s heritage for their 50th anniversary campaign.”
The fall 2017 collection will debut both new styles and modern updates to classic styles. Fans should expect attention-grabbing pieces featuring loud prints, metallics, velvet and lots of colors. More information on the upcoming collection and other Tretorn collections can be found here.
