Much like he did for “The Story of O.J.” and “4:44,” JAY-Z has released the ‘Footnotes’ visual for his 4:44 cut “Kill Jay Z.”

The legendary lyricist previously used the song to soundtrack a trailer for the then-forthcoming LP and later explained that the tune was “about killing off the ego, so we can have this conversation in a place of vulnerability and honesty.”

To have that aforementioned conversation, JAY enlisted Anthony Anderson, Van Jones, Trevor Noah, Mahershala Ali, Michael Che, Chris Rock, and Charlamagne to discuss how ego has helped and harmed them, how it’s been their drive and their detriment.

REVOLT TV is the exclusive television home for JAY-Z’s ‘Footnotes’ series. Watch Thursdays at 7 p.m. ET.
