Vic Mensa’s had some highs and lows. After dropping his The Manuscript EP, enlisting Pusha T for its lead single and video (“OMG”), joining the upcoming Day N Night festival lineup, and revealing the tracklist and featured guests for his official debut album The Autobiography (due July 28), the rapper also had to face the consequences for an arrest and gun charge he received earlier this year, ultimately deciding to accept a plea deal.

But that’s behind him and today there’s reason to celebrate. The Chicago MC is gifting fans with an early (and free) stream of The Autobiography over at NPR. Executive-produced by No I.D.—who just helmed JAY-Z’s 4:44—the news and radio organization has described the LP as “equal parts confessional and confrontational, gut-wrenching and uplifting.”
