Steering in a different direction from his previous work, Steve Aoki found himself sourcing new inspiration for his new album Kolony in the studios of Atlanta. There, he was able to create a synergy among many of his musical comrades. The result? No shortage of vibes and summer anthems here, and they’ll ring true at every festival stage he hits.

Not only did Aoki work with the artists that put the A in A-list, like Migos, Lil Yachty, Wale, Gucci Mane, he also enlisted Yellow Claw and DVBBS for production. REVOLT TV got to discuss the magic behind Aoki’s sonic genius at a private listening. Here’s what happened.
