Earlier this year, Vic Mensa was arrested on a felony gun charge after being pulled over in Beverly Hills. Though the rapper had a concealed carry permit, it was not valid in California.

Now, according to TMZ, Mensa has accepted a plea deal in the case. He will reportedly get two years probation and can avoid jail time upon paying a $500 fee. He must also may $1,325 in restitution.

The lyricist pled no contest to carrying the concealed firearm in his car; the other charge, of carrying an unregistered loaded firearm, was dropped.
