Last week, despite JAY-Z’s 4:44 going platinum and receiving a supporting tour, the LP was missing from the Billboard charts–but for good reason.

Because the project was released exclusively to TIDAL, the service would not disclose any of the album’s streaming data to Nielsen Music until its wide release to other services, retailers, and digital music stores. And now that’s that happened, we’ve got numbers.

Upon moving 262,000 total units, of which 174,000 were traditional copies, 4:44 has gone to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, making it JAY’s 14th album to do so.

The achievement also helps maintain JAY-Z’s record as the solo artist with the most No. 1 albums in the chart’s 61-year history. Bruce Springsteen and Barbra Streisand trail behind him with 11 each.
