From Marcy to Hollywood and back again. That famous line echoed around the parts of Flushing, Marcy, Nostrand, Myrtle and Park in the wee hours this morning (June 22), as a new Jay Z video was being filmed in the rapper’s native of Brooklyn — Marcy Projects specifically.

The visual was shot on the corner of Park Avenue and Nostrand Avenue, just steps away from the Roc mogul’s former stomping grounds and REVOLT was there to capture some quick shots.

While Jay didn’t appear to be in attendance, new music from the “PSA” rapper was playing on the set as a video was being shot. Judging by the minimalist production, and the recent “Adnis” snippet, the visual may be a part of the forthcoming 4:44 experience.

As previously announced, JAY-Z’s 4:44 album arrives June 30th.

Stay tuned for more updates.
