The Weeknd announces extended tour

Thirty-two more dates and three new opening acts (including French Montana).

Just a day after releasing the music video for “Secrets,” the fifth single from his Starboy album (following the title track, “I Feel It Coming,” “Party Monster,” and “Reminder”), The Weeknd still shows no signs of slowing down as he has just announced an extension to his tour.

Last year, the singer announced a massive, 46-date international tour, titled ‘Starboy: Legend of the Fall,’ that would see him visit Europe, North America, and Canada from February to June of 2017, beginning in Sweden and ending in Cincinnati.

Despite that trek only just coming to a close this past Friday (June 9), Abel has already announced the second phase of the tour. He took to Instagram to share 32 more dates across North America, Canada, New Zealand and Australia–from September to December, from Pennsylvania to Perth.

While Rae Sremmurd supported the star on the first leg of the tour, this time around, the Weeknd will be joined by French Montana, Gucci Mane (who just dropped his DropTopWop project and earned his first platinum plaque), and XO-signed artist NAV.
