No I.D. appointed executive vice president of Capitol Music Group

The veteran producer’s stock continues to rise.

No I.D.’s career continues to be on an incline.

This week, Capitol Music Group announced the legendary producer, whose real name is Dion Wilson, would be appointed to the position of Executive Vice President. The veteran beatsmith will also hold down A&R duties at the label as well as production. According to Billboard, No I.D. will also team up with the senior level management to come up with creative strategies for the many imprint labels under the Capitol umbrella.

While under his new position, No I.D. will still oversee his operations at his own Atrium label under Def Jam.
